Questions & Answers

Does the Driving School offer Pass Plus?

Yes. The Pass Plus course will enhance your driving skills. This must be taken within the first year of passing your driving test. The Driving Standards Agency requires that you take a minimum further six hours tuition to achieve the certificate, and this course includes motorway driving. Pass Plus will help you gain confidence in a variety of driving scenarios. If you choose an insurance company that participates in the scheme, they should reward you with the equivalent of a full year’s No Claims Discount – very useful for a new driver. The Pass Plus course is Instructor based and no further test is required to gain the certificate. Pass Plus is £160 for the six hour minumum set by the DSA . Please note that Dora’s School of Motoring also offers separate Motorway lessons if required.

Does the Driving School offer Motorway Tuition?

Yes. Motorway driving can be intimidating when you’ve just passed your driving test. We can help you feel safer and more confident by offering a three-hour motorway lesson. The motorway lesson will cover all aspects of motorway driving including safe manoeuvres, driving at speed plus dealing with slip roads and service stations. Motorway lessons are £30 per hour.

Does the Driving School offer tuition in Foreign Languages?

Yes. Urdu and Punjabi speaking instructors available.

Does the Driving School provide Female Instructors?

Yes. Male and Female instructors available.
